What is a Camp Fair?

12/23/2013 12:15 ● Published by Rick McGarry

A Camp Fair is like a camp expo. It is an informal interactive event where Livingston County parents and personnel from local camps get to know each other. Parents have a chance to learn about different camp options and make informed decisions about their child’s summer activities before the last minute.

Representatives from about three dozen day camps and resident camps in the area will set up tables with literature and displays telling about their summer programs. We expect to have camps for children of all ages, and camps to suit every family’s budget.

Parents pay nothing to come in, move from table to table at their own pace, visit with the camp representatives, ask questions and collect information in a comfortable, no pressure, convenient environment.

The Camp Fair will be at The Commons, 7526 W. Grand River in Brighton, across from Woodland Health Center from 10am-2pm on February 22.
