Fashion & Tea program
Take a tour of the Streets of Old Grand Rapids to set the scene for a presentation of fashion from the Civil War Era to the Edwardian Era. See vintage and historic pieces from the museums collection made of the most delicate fabric. Examine needlework, sewing techniques, fabrics and fashion first hand with items from our education collection. Learn what it took to be fashionable through the different eras - from gowns, to casual dresses, under garments to bustles. Tea and sweet treats will accompany the program. Tickets are $15 for non-members and $13 for members. This program will take place at the Public Museum located at 272 Pearl Street NW.
