2014 4H Jr Master Gardener Program
6 Class Gardening Series + make-up class
Six week horticultural learning experience for Livingston County youth, 3rd - 5th grades. A portion of each class is devoted to hands-on projects to take home. Participants learn about many areas of indoor & outdoor gardening, insects, and composting. Students must attend all 6 sessions and complete 10 hours volunteer service to become a Certified Junior Master Gardener. Class size limited to 16 students. A parent or adult must accompany the child to each class. Call MSU Extension at (517) 546-3950 for full Brochure and Application. Student/Parent Orientation is Wednesday, April 23 where Students receive their Course Notebooks. First 3 classes at Bordines; remaining classes off-site.
